So Avatar FirePro Wrestling is the game that was hyped last year for X-Box's avatar's?! Hmmm...

Ya know with a lil' ingenuity and such, they could still make a great 2d game outta the FirePro series. Add some spectacle such as interviews and the like(which version was it that had the OWNERS of each federation pictured, like Vince Jr., Baba, and I remember seeing Liger speaking with a buncha kanji shiz I couldnt read....anyways anyone remember that version?
I played it out that I had a mask on and  under a hood in each federation...until I lost I'd lose the hood...which then set up a fued(and somehow it actually did in the game) and once I won I'd remask and eventually head to a different fed.
Can't remember if I got that on the modded Saturn or the Playstation?! Seems like it was the PS cause it didn't always play).

Jacob Cass...I still gotta get to that storyline...sadly I havent yet. I'm still stuck with SHEAMUS trying to beat foe in the ELMINATION CHAMBER match before a new for comes out...seems damned near impossible. Any hints or help?

For the Elimination Chamber, you just have to be as cheap as humanly possible and beat the target guy up until you get a cutscene prompt. Try to keep anyone else in the match out of the way by chucking them out of the ring (in fact, once Cena gets in, you *have* to do this to him since he can't be eliminated. Lousy Super Cena)

While nothing has officially been announced and probably won't be until after E3 Billy Gun, Road Dogg and Diamond Dallas Page have said they will be in the game. The New Age Outlaws both mentioned it on twitter awhile back while DDP mentioned it in an interview promoting his yoga DVDs. Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman are also rumored for the game. There is a post on various wwe/gaming sites were a fan saw an article in a MMA magazine about MMA in entertainment that revealed  Shamrock and Blackman in the game but i havent been able to find anything on the article etc. copy and paste on various forms of the same psot so i'd take that as a rumor for now

I can only hope they include the generic version of "Smells like teen spirit" that was used in WCW for DDP.  As far as generic themes go that was one of my favorites.

More rumors

Models are currently being made for Ken shamrock, Big boss man (corporation attire), DDP, and Rikishi, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn are completed.

Too cool, X-Pac, Tori, Lita, and Gangrel will NOT be part of the game as he said he was told deals could not be reached with them as was confirmed by X-pac’s twitter rant about being low balled.

Other news: The story mode was originally scripted to be attitude era cut scenes done with modern wrestlers. For example: the Austin “beer bath” was a cut scene but with Del Rio in The Rock’s place in the story. Cory didn’t like this idea and has recently taken over the story mode and they are re doing the storylines now (as cory himself confirmed).

As of right now a classic raw arena is planned as an unlockable. Heat and Velocity arenas were planned but have since been dumped.

Lord Tensai (a-train) has been scanned and he is scheduled to be a DLC, this may change though as last year Sin Cara was originally scheduled to be DLC but his model was done ahead of time.

The lack of Xpac, Lita and Gangrel is a huge bummer.  I would have loved to see them in the game.  Oh, hell, even Tori.  If they do anything with DX in it for story it would definitely be missing him.

Now old school Raw arena?  Fuck yeah!  I honestly love that sometimes more than the fancy setup they have now.  There was just something wonderfully simple about it that seeing it now makes me feel nostalgic.

Kinda surprised about Too Cool not being in. Scotty did some worth with WWE not TOO long ago (Raw 15th ann. show), and I imagine Brian Christopher would be willing to take any payoff possible. Glad that Rikishi will be in, hopefully along with his sons, for the game.

RAW's 15th anniversary was like, 5 years ago or something. That's a pretty damn long time. More surprised Lita won't be in the game, actually.

If the Mean Street Posse aren't AT LEAST non-playable characters in the game in some form or fashion, I call shenanigans on the whole idea of WWE '13 being based around the Attitude Era!

Report: WWE Revolution Campaign Revealed

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that the WWE Revolution campaign that is on WWE.com is not for a new character that will debut with the company.

Instead of a new character, it appears that the campaign is being used for the release of the new WWE '13 video game that is set to be released in October. The reason that they are putting together this video is because of the E3 Video Game Convention that is being held in early June

All those wrestlers must be in a good place in life to turn down free money. I would love to lay down some voice work, get a body scan, and be in a video game and GET PAID. I can understand if they weren't offered shit and doing it because they are marks for themselves. I wouldn't even do it for the fans. How much does Tori and Gangrel think their services are worth in 2012 for a video game?

So this HAS BEEN CONFIRMED as an ATTITUDE ERA storyline/etc game?

Hell, I'm sure there's alot they could do with it but I was a WCW fan at the time-hoping they'd kill off the NWO in a cool way, etc.
And where do you folks hear these "rumors"?!
