Since C4 seems to be getting a bit of attention thanks to the Wrestling Culture podcast, thought I would start a thread and see if anyone was interested in discussing it.

So, is Thomas Dubois officially a part of the Authority or what?

I have no clue about any current storylines, but it really is a good promotion.  Brodie Lee v. Bailey was one of my favorite "random" matches of last year and Elgin v. Hero was probably the best "super indy!" singles style match I saw all year.

Yeah, I'm so proud of my little local. It makes me glad to know that, while I went to the first show in order to see Kevin Steen, El Generico and the special guest star (in this case Colt Cabana), but now they could have a card without any of thos appearing (or even Michael Elgin, who became a favorite of mine early on) and still have a great card.

Cool to see other people go to the shows on the board!  Elgin putting Steen up for a Samoan Drop and doing a Fallaway on Alexander simultaneously was the most ridiculous feat of strength I've ever seen live.

And Twiggy re-visiting Andy Kaufman in zubaz is entertaining as hell.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this fed suddenly.  I'm surprised Bailey hasn't been picked up by someone, somewhere.

Frick, Michael Elgin won't be able to make it to the next C4 show. Still, Mike Bailey vs Eddie Kingston is a pretty good substitute.

Alpha-1 Wrestling

Has anyone here heard of Alpha-1? They run in Hamilton monthly and use a lot of the same guys C4 does. They have a sick looking show on April 22nd with Josh Alexander vs Cheech in a ladder match and Eddie Kingston vs Joey Kings announced. They are also doing a small pre-show before the Evolve show next Friday. I'd love for C4 to run a show in Toronto although we have it pretty good with Squared Circle Wrestling and Fight! running every few months.

From the C*4 Website :

C*4 presents “Triumph 2012”
Saturday April 20, 2012
Ottawa, Ontario
Knights of Columbus

Announcer:  The Voice
Commentary: Adam B.
Attendance: 275+
Referees: Sonic, Ben, Serge St. Denies & TJ Wylie,

Pre-Show
•   Jagger Miles pinned Pat Skills
•   Abe “Action” Jackson defeated S.O.B

Main Show
1 -     Checkmate, Lionel Knight & Christopher Bishop, retained the C*4 Tag Team Championship, and ended the “Streak” of The Afterparty, in a very entertaining contest.   Knight and Bishop’s years of tag team expertise to overcome the very hungry Cecil Nyx and Chaze Lovely.

2 -   “Textbook” Tyson Dux pinned “Psycho” Mike Rollins in a very physical affair, and made his successful return to Ottawa.

3 -     The debuting Buxx Belmar won over the crowd, and scored an impressive win against Shane Matthews.

4 -    While making a farewell speech to the C*4 audience, Beef Wellington was interrupted by former C*4 regular, “Superstar” Shayne Hawke.  Hawke told C*4 fans that he was in the first ever C*4 match, and belonged back in the promotion, and that he was offended such a big deal was being made for a leaving superstar, and not the return of THE Superstar.  This lead to a match between the two, which saw Beef Wellington scoring the win over Hawke, with an Ass-punch followed by an E-Coli Driver.

5-   In a showdown between two of the biggest men on the roster, Frankie the Mobster narrowly overcame the 7-foot Darkko.  Both men gave it everything they had, but Frankie managed to not so much “win”, but survive the encounter.

Following the match, Frankie took the microphone and told C*4 fans he had one goal in his immediate future, and behind his return to C*4.  That goal being, to become C*4 Champion, and went on to challenge “The Emperor” Stu Grayson on Saturday May 12th.

6 -     In a very emotional and hard hitting contest, “MVP” Michael Von Payton defeated “The Prince of Persia” Rahim Ali, and as a result, Ali must retire from professional wrestling.

The match saw MVP repeatedly target Ali’s lower back, including hitting an insane top-rope powerbomb.  Ali managed to fight back, but fell in the end to a pair of superkicks, and a giant swinging “mindbender”.

Following the match the former teacher and student embraced, as MVP left the ring to allow Ali a final moment in the spotlight.

7 -    Twiggy narrowly retained his World Inter-Gender Championship, defeating Jodi D’Milo, via figure four leg-lock.   Prior to the match, Twiggy proudly proclaimed himself a “proud woman beater”, and continued his bizarre behaviour throughout the match.

Following the match, Twiggy told C*4 management that he extends an open challenge again for May 12th, to any opponent who they can take his championship away from him.

8 -     In an insanity filled 6-Man Tag Team Match, The Authority (Sebastian Suave, Mathieu St. Jacques and Thomas Dubois), overcame the challenge of “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea, Brent B. & Jae Rukin.   Throughout the contest, Authority members and manager Seleziya Sparx managed to bend every rule they could in order to keep an upper hand on their opponents.   In the end, despite the fact it appeared O’Shea had things in hand for his team, a low-blow followed by an inverted cobra-clutch from Suave, saw The Authority claim victory.

9 –    In the Main Event, “Speedball” Mike Bailey shocked the crowd, and himself, as he managed to overcome the much larger, and experienced, Eddie Kingston.   The Match saw both men give it everything they had, and then some.

Kingston looked to have Bailey beaten, as he went for his patented back-fist, only to be caught by Bailey in a triangle choke-hold.  Kingston attempted to escape, using his power-advantage, and delivering modified powerbomd to Bailey.  However, “Speedball” hung on.

The official checked with Kingston, and seeing no response, called for the bell, declaring Bailey the winner.

The crowd jump to their feet, and slapped the apron in support of both men – and celebrated Bailey’s biggest win to date.

C*4 returns to Ottawa on Saturday May 12th – already announced – C*4 Champion, “The Emperor” Stu Grayson vs. Frankie the Mobster
Don’t miss out!

C*4 also returns to Montreal, Saturday May 19th, featuring the C*4 debut of former ECW World Champion, Steve Corino!

Personal notes :
Very solid card from top to bottom. Mike Bailey once again stole the show with a very hot match. The tag match was short but fun, although I was kind of hoping the After Party would win the belts, as I've become a big Cecil Nyx fan of late. The six man was great but a bit chaotic. Frankie vs Darko was also a lot of fun, Darko is becoming a bit of a breakout star. On a down note, a truly obnoxious group of fans who showed up at the last show returned, there has been a bit of discussion on the C*4 discussion board and Facebook that their behaviour is starting to negatively affect the enjoyment of other fans.

That was probably one of the best cards I've seen for C4 yet.  I was really not looking forward to Frankie vs. Darkko but it was way better than it had any right to be.  The title match at the next show will probably be a lot of fun.

I love the Twiggy stuff and am looking into acquiring some Zubaz...

From the website :

One man will Stand Alone as C*4 Champion – The Authority banned!  Triple Threat Fan Favourite Tag Team Championship Challenge!  Grudge Match!

With less than three weeks before our next event, we are excited to announce three headlining matches right now for May 12th!

First up, a match that was quickly signed (almost too quickly) after “Triumph 2012” – a challenge laid out by Frankie the Mobster to the current Champion, “The Emperor” Stu Grayson.

When Grayson was informed of the challenge he accepted very quickly.

With that said, it is possible that Grayson’s cockiness is well deserved, having beaten every challenger who has crossed his path.  Large and small, Grayson has managed to beat them all.

However, perhaps his cockiness has been from the increasing reliance in his stable-mates of Sebastian Suave, Mathieu St. Jacques, Thomas Dubois, and Seleziya Sparx.  Over the last few months, The Authority has managed to help keep control over the C*4 Championship, and has very often assisted in Stu Grayson’s defences.

With this in mind, and in the effort of fairness, C*4 management has implemented the following stipulation on the May 12th, 2012 Championship match:

If any member of The Authority (Sebastian Suave, Mathieu St. Jacques, Thomas Dubois or Seleziya Sparx) interfere on his behalf in the match, Stu Grayson will be disqualified and will lose the championship.

This is Frankie the Mobster’s first opportunity at the C*4 Championship since being involved in the original tournament finals to crown the initial Champion (“Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen).  This is his long overdue shot at the title.  It should be noted, both Player Uno and Steen, the other two men aside from Stu Grayson, who were in that Four-Way, have challenged and fallen during The Emperor’s reign.

Can Stu Grayson retain the championship, and reach a record breaking two years, as C*4 Champion?  Or will Frankie the Mobster topple Grayson?

Main Event
***Authority members banned from Ringside – if Suave, St. Jacques, Dubois or Sparx interfere Grayson will lose the title***

Frankie the Mobster

Next up is a match that is filled with a group of men looking to steal the show, and two new teams looking to grab the C*4 Tag Team Championship in the process…

Our C*4 Tag Team Champions, Checkmate, Lionel Knight and Christopher Bishop have demonstrated that they are one of the most dominate teams in C*4’s history in a very short time.  Combining lightning fast tandem offensive moves, and solid technical ability, Knight and Bishop have managed to defeat all comers to their tag championship.

Bishop and Knight have made it clear that they are open to facing any teams that C*4 matchmakers would give them… Well, we have two exciting combinations ready to offer them.

First off, two men who have shown great strides in team work together, as well as being formidable opponents to one another in several recent matches.   These two very popular singles wrestlers are looking to unite their strengths and claim gold on May 12th.
The first challengers at “Stand Alone” will be the tandem of Jae Rukin and “The Allstarter” Brent B!

Next up, riding a wave of popularity, and the biggest win of his career, “Speedball” Mike Bailey is being granted a shot at the C*4 Tag Team Championship.   Fresh off his decision victory over Eddie Kingston on April 21st, Bailey is being granted an opportunity to reclaim the tag team championship, which he previously held with “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen.

C*4 management is granting Bailey this chance, and has offered him the chance to pick a partner to challenge for the title.  Bailey noted his first choice would be the currently suspended Player Uno.  With Uno not possible, Bailey has called out to another very popular C*4 talent, “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea!

So, on Saturday May 12th, the C*4 tag team Championship will be decided, when four of the most popular stars on the roster will challenge for the gold!

“Speedball” Mike Bailey & “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea

Lastly for today, a massive grudge match – which will see one of this seasons rising stars attempt to gain a measure of revenge against a man who assisted in an assault that took him out of singles action for over a month.

“Ronin” Josh Alexander has clearly been riding a wave of momentum that started on the first show of Season 5, when he defeated former partners “MVP” Michael Von Payton, and the recently retired, Rahim Ali.   The winning ways continued as he went on to defeat El Generico (twice), “Textbook” Tyson Dux, “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin, and “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen.  In the process of this streak, he caught the eye of the growing force of The Authority.

Following his win on March 10th, Alexander was approached publicly by Seleziya Sparx (speaking for C*4 Champion, Stu Grayson).  Sparx extended an offer to Alexander to join The Authority.    When “Ronin” turned down the offer, he was met with three big slaps across the face from Seleziya.  In response to that, Josh grabbed Sparx and attempted to deliver his double-underhook piledriver.

Before he could complete the move, Mathieu St. Jacques, Thomas Dubois, and Sebastian Suave hit the ring.  Directed by Champion Stu Grayson, they proceeded to assault Alexander.

Alexander was beaten severely and to the point that he could not compete in singles action for over a month.

On May 12th, “Ronin” Josh Alexander is looking for revenge.

Facing off against Josh, will be a man whose allegiance with The Authority has seen  him grow into one of the most dangerous and determined men on the C*4 roster, Sebastian Suave!

Sebastian Suave

************************

Personal notes :

After a while it seemed they kept repeating the formula of The Authority vs The Same C4 Babyfaces (Bailey, Rukin, Hacker, Player Uno, Brent B), I am glad they are mixing it up a bit. Definitely pleased that they are finally following up on Josh Alexander feuding with the Authority that they had teased a few shows back, I really like both him and Suave. Nice change up on the tag title front but would have liked to see 3.0 or the After Party get another shot. Frankie vs Grayson should be fun.

I've finally gotten around to pick up most of the 2011 C*4 shows that I should be getting very soon in the mail.
I always wanted to try and make the trip out to Ottawa for those shows since they really do look good on paper, but to justify a 4 hour drive on a Saturday is tough.
Especially since in Ontario, there are usually tons of shows happening every weekend, and within 4 hours, you can drive to like Detroit for ROH shows, or even less then that for anything from the Upstate NY scene (Buffalo/Rochester area...)

With that said, I'm glad that they do bring in names and that they have established guys like Player Dos (Stu Grayson) as someone who can headline an indy and be a top guy based on his work as a singles worker, since the Smash Bros. have not really gotten their due until very recently with the PWG DD4 tournament win.

They have done a great job using bigger names like El Generico and Kevin Steen, put over some of their 'home grown' talent like Josh Alexander, Psycho Mike Rollins and Mike Bailey in top positions, and to me, it just seems different and have their own unique feel on their cards.

They have taken a blow by losing Brodie Lee to developmental, and Michael Elgin who is branching out more stateside, but for the most part the cards still look well rounded.
I would love for them to run a doubleshot in Ottawa for a tournament show just so I can make a weekend out of it but we'll see.

So Frankie The Mobster is out of the title match due to injury, being replaced by TBD . In the past, replacements in high profile matches in C*4 have included Eddie Kingston and Chris Hero . Interested in seeing who shows up this time out.

In case anyone in Ottawa wasn't aware, there's a tribute show tonight for Phrank Morin aka Stinky the Homeless Guy at Tudor Hall.  I wrote an article for the Canadian Cancer Society in case anyone cares to read:

Super cool cause, and they have no sponsors, raised all the money for the show themselves and all the ticket sales are going to the CCS.  If you can come out, it'd be a great thing.

Last word I heard was that the event raised $13K and still counting. For me, top match of the night was Michael Elgin vs Harry Smith. Admitedly I am a big Elgin mark, but this match had a great extened matt-work and leg-work section that I hadn't seen from either guys before. Thanks to the organizers for putting this together, the wrestlers who made it such a great show, and everybody who came out.

First announcement for the premiere show of the new C*4 season just came out. The season before last (my first season of C*4) had a lot of guest stars (Colt Cabana , Chris Hero, Rhino, etc.) . This past season was more about focus on their core roster and developing rivalries. If this is anything to go by, the new season may be about using the established favorites to help bring up new stars. I just hope the squadron of assholes who have been determined to ruin the last several shows find something else to do this night.

**************************************************************************************************************************************************************

A Fighting Champion… A battle between friends… Tag Team Warfare
With the beginning of our next season just weeks away, we have several sure to be exciting matches to kick things off properly.

Over the summer, C*4 Management was contacted by the new C*4 Champion, “Ronin” Josh Alexander.   Alexander told C*4 that as the new champion, and new leader of the promotion, he envisioned a much different direction than the former champion, Stu Grayson, and his Authority cohorts.

Alexander told C*4 management that as somebody who literally climbed the from the bottom of the card to make it to the top of the promotion, he is somebody who had to earn everything he got.  From his time as a tag team competitor, along with the likes of “Psycho” Mike Rollins, Rahim Ali, and “MVP” Michael Von Payton, to his massive winning streak in season 5, which brought him to Championship contention, Alexander fought for it all.

The “Ronin” told C*4 management that his reign will be one as a fighting champion, and one who welcomes all challenges.  Alexander stated that his reign will be one of opportunity, and chances that he was never given.

As such, Alexander told C*4 management on that Friday Sept. 14th, at “A Better Tomorrow”, he wants to give the chance he never had to three men who all burst on the scene in Season 5.

First up, a young man who returned to professional wrestling in the last year, and debuted in C*4 this season, after having disappeared for several years following his early career on the independent scene in Quebec.  A young cruiser-weight with tons of potential and ability, who could not only win this match but jump to the very top of the roster – Jagger Miles.

Next up, a man who also broke out in Season 5, specifically after several battles with the above mentioned Jagger Miles...  A young competitor from Ajax, Ontario, who travelled to Calgary Alberta Canada, to train under Lance Storm,  to better his already solid abilities.   A man, who is known for both his tag team abilities, as much as his singles skills…  The quick and dangerous, “Rocksteady” Alex Vega.

Lastly, an unorthodox competitor who has climbed the rankings at a rapid rate in C*4 and beyond, as well as finding a groundswell of fan support along the way.   The final challenger on Sept. 14th for Josh Alexander’s championship is “Dirty” Buxx Belmar.

Alexander has welcomed these competitors to challenge for a belt he fought for nearly three years to get.  His first challengers are three unlikely people, and it could be argued that he is requesting three men who don’t stand a chance of taking his title.  However, it could also be the case that Alexander honestly wants what is best for the company, and offering his shot to three worthy, if unlikely, is the route that is needed following the tyranny that came with the possession of the belt by Grayson.  However, has he bitten off more than he can chew?

Next up a match between two of C*4’s most popular stars, in what could be friendly competition or something else entirely.

On Saturday June 16th, 2012, “Speedball” Mike Bailey’s chances of C*4 Championship victory was cut short.  Not because he was pinned or submitted, or not because his spirit was unwilling – Bailey’s chances were cut short after an accident left him dazed, and with a shattered nose.

Early in the Six Way Championship match at CTL5, Bailey’s friend and sometimes partner, “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea, delivered a back elbow to Bailey, which lead to the aforementioned injury.  As such, Bailey fell out of the ring, blood gushing from his face, and was assisted to the back, where medical staff made the call that he could not continue in the match.

Since then, O’Shea has not addressed the injury, and according to Bailey, he hasn’t heard anything from him on the matter.     O’Shea is only willing to say that “it happens”, when C*4 management told him about the situation.

At Fighting Back 2, Bailey made his first appearance in over two months, to fight unsuccessfully in a bid to become the first ever Fighting Back Champion.  Bailey told C*4 matchmakers following this that he was ready to step back into the ring on Sept. 14th.

Bailey also requested that his first match back would be with the man who accident or not, stopped him from becoming C*4 Champion.  On Friday Sept. 14th, “Speedball” meets “The Hacker”.

Lastly for today, a huge, first time ever, tag team encounter.

On one side of the ring, the current C*4 Tag Team Champions, Lionel Knight and Christopher Bishop, collectively known as Checkmate.  A team which debuted in C*4 last season, and climbed straight to the top of the tag team rankings.  Once they reached the championship pinnacle, they never looked back.

Standing opposite them, is a determined team, who scored a monstrous win in June, and are looking to capitalize on it.  Having been associated with C*4 Champion, Stu Grayson, during Season 5, Mathieu St. Jacques, and Thomas “Pipes” Dubois, are looking to claim gold of their own.

At “Crossing the Line 5”, the dominate Quebecois duo shocked the crowd by scoring a clean win over Franky the Mobster, and ROH World Champion, “Mr. Wrestling”, Kevin Steen.

Dubois and St. Jacques, representing The Authority, will be in action and looking to make up for their leader’s loss in June, as well as claim gold for themselves.

Latest update ... I'm disappointed Dubois can't make it, hopefully St. Jacques will find his way onto the show somehow. I confess I am kind of sick of the 4 way matches for the tag belts, I think almost every defense by Checkmate has been in a multi team match except that one against the Afterparty.

*******************************************************

Championship shuffle and scramble! First time ever – for real this time!  And more!
We are two weeks away from C*4’s kick off to Season Six!  As Sept. 14th, quickly approaches, we have several big announcements to make right now concerning the event!

First off, a match that has never happened before – and was supposed to happen last March, but due to circumstances beyond anybodies control couldn’t.

On one side of the ring, a man who managed to score a win over “The Last of a Dying Breed”, Eddie Kingston, at Crossing the Live 5 – and has bragged about it ever since… “MVP” Michael Von Payton.

Von Payton has promised C*4 management that season six was his year, and he’ll take on all opponents, and beat them all.

On that note, C*4 has signed the man he was supposed to face back in March, to collide with him… Franky the Mobster!

First Time Ever – For Real this time, we hope!

Vs.
“MVP” Michael Von Payton

C*4 management was notified earlier this week, that due to an injury suffered at Battlewar in Montreal over the weekend, Thomas Dubois could not compete on Friday Sept. 14th.  As a result, the tandem of Dubois & St. Jacques will no longer be challenging for the tag team Championship at “A Better Tomorrow”.

With this announcement, C*4 has decided to open the field to all challengers and Checkmate once again has agreed to defend their titles in a scramble match.

The challengers will include:

The Afterparty - Currently riding a wave of fan support, Cecil Nyx and Chaz Lovely are hoping to score the biggest win of their careers.  Can Nyx and Lovely pull it off?

Brent B. & Jae Rukin – a team that has collided with Checkmate several times already, and have narrowly been defeated each time.  Rukin and Brent can awe a crowd like few others, however they have just missed out each chance.  Can this time be the one?

The Incredible Hunks – A team which has appeared in C*4 since the very first season, however isn’t known for their time here.  Deeno & Cheeky are both looking to make an impact on Sept. 14th – and a win here, would take them from looking in, to looking down at all the teams below.

Can Checkmate hold on to their championship?  Or will one of their three challengers score a very important win?

Lastly for today, another match for “A Better Tomorrow”…

At “Crossing the Line 5”, self-proclaimed “World Inter-Gender Champion”, Twiggy was physically destroyed by Vanessa Kraven.  However, in the end, with the assistance from his lawyer, Twiggy managed to pin the amazon.

Later this summer, at Fighting Back 2, Kraven got a measure of revenge on Twiggy; however she didn’t have a chance at the title.

Twiggy has told C*4 management that on Sept. 14th, he will address Vanessa Kraven, and potentially facing her in the future.

However, Twiggy has stated that he has signed a contract to face a worthy opponent, and one he feels “will be just as challenging as Vanessa Kraven, if not more”.

Making her C*4 debut on Friday Sept. 14th, Xandra Bale challenges Twiggy.

While Twiggy might be welcoming the challenge of the smaller-than-Kraven, he should not underestimate Bale.

Having been turning heads on the Ontario indy scene for the last several years, Bale is looking to make an impact on Sept. 14th.  A win over Twiggy would certainly do just that.

First update in a while from the most recent event, 2 key things : 1) Two matches, the title match and especially the Elgin vs. Bailey match were hands down among the best matches I have ever seen live, and 2) Elgin announced after the match it would probably be his last match for C4, at least for a while. Given that the C4 match of the night traditionally involves the names Michael Elgin or Mike Bailey, this is sad news, but I hope this is the springboard for bigger and better things for the Canadian Crazy Horse.

Dark Matches
* John Greed

* Chris Cruz & Jeff Fury
defeated Nico Marshall & Lex Lerman
Main Show
1) In an outstanding contest, Checkmate narrowly overcame “MVP” Michael Von Payton & “All Ego” Ethan Page.  The newly christened ”Most Valuable Egos”, gave everything they had, but Christopher Bishop & Lionel Knight were up for the challenge.
2) In a competitive match, “Superstar” Shayne Hawke pinned “Rocksteady” Alex Vega.
3) Giant Tiger, AKA “The Real Vanessa Kraven” won via DQ against Vanessa Kraven, as per special referee Twiggy’s discretion.   Throughout the match, Twiggy seemed to play favorites with Giant Tiger.  Vanessa Kraven threatened Twiggy several times out of frustration, however each time, Twiggy hid behind the referee’s shirt.  Finally, after using foul language against him, Twiggy officially ended the match.  Things seem far from done between Twiggy and Kraven.
4) In an outstanding six man tag team match, The Super Smash Brothers, and Franky the Mobster defeated C*4 Tag Team Champions, Mathieu St. Jacques & Thomas Dubois (T.d.T), and the debuting Shawn Spears.    Franky managed to keep both Uno and Stu in line, and when things seemed to break down between the two, he physically ”forced” them to work together.   Things seem to be on the same page now for Uno and Stu – can they climb up the C*4 tag division ranks now that they are together?
5) In an outstanding contest, after over twenty minutes of action, “Speedball” Mike Bailey shocked the crowd, pinning “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin, following a 630 twisting senton.  Both men gave each other everything they had, but in the end, Bailey managed to score the win.
Following the match, Elgin spoke to C*4 fans, revealing that it could possibly be his final appearance for quite some time.  He praised C*4 as the place that helped him get where he is today – and said that Bailey has all the talent to make it just as far.
See this match - undoubtedly one of the best matches in C*4 history!
6) In a back-and-forth tag team contest, The Afterparty, Cecil Nyx and Chaz Lovely beat Brent Banks & Jae Rukin.  As a result, Nyx & Lovely will receive a future tag team championship opportunity.
7) In a grueling and violent match, C*4 Champion, “Ronin” Josh Alexander narrowly defeated the challenge of “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea, to retain his championship.
Both men dealt out tremendous amounts of punishment amount of punishment to each other – including Alexander delivering a piledriver to O’Shea through two steel chairs, and O’Shea in turn delivering a running powerbomb to the champ, through a table.
The finish came when O’Shea seemed to have Alexander defeated, but was distracted by a surprise appearance by “Speedball” Mike Bailey – allowing Alexander to nail “Hacker” with a spinning tombstone piledriver, and score the pin.
After the match,  an unconscious O’Shea was carried to the locker room by officials – all while a smiling Bailey watched on.
Who will challenge “The Ronin” next, and try to take the C*4 Championship from him?
In the locker room, Alexander seemed clearly upset over the fact that Bailey stuck his nose him his match.  However, without his appearance, there is some doubt he would have retained.

O’Shea meanwhile, once he came to, told C*4 officials, he is not done with Alexander, or Mike Bailey.

C*4 returns to action on Saturday April 27, 2013 – when we present “Domination 2k13″.  Stay tuned for details.

Also, C*4 debuts in Ottawa’s west end, on Saturday May 11th, when we present “Saturday Night Slammasters” at Funhaven Arcade and event centre (www.funhaven.com).
