That's still a minute longer than Davey Richards sells a superplex.

First Davey match I saw in a long time was Tokyo Dome 4 Jan, and it's actually kind of entertaining to see him really think about how to add as much high drama to something as possible. Like.. visibly waiting on the apron for the 2 count before he breaks the pin on his partner. Literally starting to slide into the ring, realizing he's too early, then STOPPING HIMSELF. Or just dumb shit like taking out his mouthpiece, kicking a seated opponent in the head, then putting it back in BEFORE MAKING THE PIN. Every single match has these retarded examples of why CAWs suck ass and are like a cancer slowly killing actual pro-wrestling.

Oh my dear god, that was indeed a complete abomination. I don't think the superplex spot even makes the top 20 of what's wrong with that match

That's precisely it. To a lot of the people here, these are non-negotiable necessary conditions to be considered a good worker. Your Benoit hypothesis is never going to be addressed to your satisfaction because it involves proving a negative. It also involves the subconscious, which is inaccessible to the conscious mind by definition.
I think I'm the only one to admit that part of my dislike is tied to Benoit and Billington. But I have seen pretty much everyone else give logical reasons for what they dislike about his work.
Tying your dislike of Richards to Benoit and Billington is perfectly logical.

This GIF makes me as mad at wrestling as I have ever been. I would rather watch Robocop rescue Sting from the Horsemen.

I love the German suplex and I'd like to see more of it in promotions such as WWE and TNA, but I hate the way Benoit and Angle came to use the move. Killed the drama for me when they were treating a move as powerful as a German suplex like it was an armdrag or a hammerlock. I'm not asking for the move to cripple someone or anything, but it should be good for a near-fall every time it is used, or at least, you know, HURT. Using a move repeatedly does not make it better; it devalues the move.
As for the ankle lock, I'm so sick of it. It was great when it meant something, but Kurt Angle ruined it by having everyone and their parents either reverse it, put it on Angle himself, or both, very often not selling the move in the process. Davey Richards is continuing that trend of shitty ankle lock spots. Swagger is doing better with it now, though.
Also, please toss my bid in for that GIF being the dumbest thing ever. I had not seen the match that spot was in. Seeing it makes me think that Richards is even worse than I thought. Those two guys (Richards and Edwards) bring out the worst in each other somehow.

Heres a minority opinion I have about wrestling; every wrestling fan is entitled to their opinion, no matter how right or wrong I might think it is. Though in the back of my mind, I do wish that some people didn't have an opinion about anything and just choked on their own saliva.

And then I watched the last iPPV. It was like everything in this thread hit me at once. That superplex spot was one thing but the DUELING BACKDROP DRIVERS?! I'll take John Cena, thanks.

Considering people were claiming Stevie Ray was a better worker than Richards, I have no doubt you'll have people claiming that indy match between Kevin Nash and Ricky Morton was a million times better than every Davey Richards match ever.
