Just to be on the safe side I checked on the Sheiks (Blackwell/Patera) eligibility as my recollection was that they were just under the bar of a year.  Sure enough they were a team for.....364 days!  There first match together was:

5/19/83 Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada @ Arena
AWA Champion Nick Bockwinkel no contest Wahoo McDaniel
Non Title
Ken Patera & Jerry Blackwell beat AWA Tag Team Champions Greg Gagne & Jim Brunzell
Mike Graham beat Buck Zumhofe
Baron Von Raschke beat Jesse Ventura dq
Att: 3,972

There last match was:

5/18/84 Las Vegas, NV @ Showboat Sports Pavilion
AWA Tag Team Champions The Crusher & Baron Von Raschke vs Jerry Blackwell & Ken Patera

I actually have extreme doubts about that being an accurate result, because there is nothing else listed from the show and Patera's previous last date with the promotion was two weeks earlier, but this was around the time he went psycho with Saito so it's at least possible that this did occur as his swan song.

Toward the end they were working a fair number of six-mans and matches where one or the other was teaming with Adnan and not the other.  Still pretty crazy.

In case no one has mentioned it yet, "Mother Love Bone Bracket" is pretty damn clever. Kudos. Does this mean the winners are going to be the "Stardog Champions"?

Please note that I saw Rapeman live at the Metro in Richmond- but only after seeing the protests on the news from women's groups.  I was like, "Oh fuck, I almost forgot!"  I would put "Super Pussy" by Rapeman up against anything from Big Black- including anything on ATOMIZER.

sadly, youtube is not letting me upload the Jimmy Valiant / Tojo squash match from Memphis jan 81.

Valiant does a great corkscrew elbow.

On account of some Veteran's Day/family related things, I'm shifting the schedule a bit. Polls will close and open at an yet to be determined early morning hour when I'm not helping tend to young and energetic cousins.

How many more brackets are there? I feel like I may have missed Noble/Kash.

Do the winners of Match 1 and Match 2 face eachother within their brackets - or something else?

Not precisely, because I ended up not posting all of the first round match-ups in order. From this round on, though, yeah.

I totally forgot to add the team of Double Dragon, Super Dragon and Bryan Danielson.  I think they only teamed up during the PWG Tango & Cash Invitational.

I'm going to put up the semis when I have something better than an iPhone to work with, which is probably Saturday, but if you want to start thinking about it now, the matches are Rose and Sommers vs. The Hollywood Blondes and Rude and Fernandez vs. The Colossal Connection.

I was really hoping for them vs. CC but was hoping it would be the finals. Still predicting a R 'n' R win.

I thnk the Blonds can take this because there's such a mythos to them and I feel like more people remember them because they were a few years later.

Man, I was going through some of Lynch's lists, and came upon the team of Masa Chono and Sabu.  Oh, regret.

I wish I knew this one-off team had existed. It's like the ultimate first round team.
