Fu-ten have taunted me even more by uploading Bati Bati 44 to videx that you could download for about $15... IF you lived in Japan. Anyone there want to download it, screen capture it, and upload it for us folks? Pretty sure there would be paypal funds in it for you.

Ohara retired because he was quite broken down (not sure how, he never took huge bumps) and is working for a building company nowadays, or was last I heard. I can't remember why he left the company, it's very unlike New Japan to let any homegrown wrestler go (it's usually them walking out!), this was in the chaotic days though where a lot of strange things happened.

Was Wrestlefanfest Malice In The Palace ever released?  I'm asking here because it has a Muta match on it which I am sure sucked but I am a completist.  But I can show no evidence that the thing ever actually made it out.  It is bad enough the Muta vs. Bigelow match was never released, I was in contact last year with the guy that filmed that Atlantic City debacle, he said he had the match somewhere but couldn't find it.  Grumble grumble.

Is there still a Fukumen World League tournament? I remember loving the 2007, and I figured there would have been one last year(it's ever 4 years right?)

Who was the model that accompanied Rick Rude to the ring in the Japanese match where he won the WCW International title from Sting and suffered his career-ending back injury, and is the whole match available on any New Japan tapes?

I'm doing an article on interpromotional matches for Fighting Spirit Magazine. I'm trying to make sure I cover all the important stuff.

-IWE vs AJ and NJ
-Fake invasion angles in the '80s
-NJ vs WAR
-Joshi starting in '92
-Juniors in general starting with J Cup '94
-UWFi vs NJ and WAR
-All Japan vs FMW (not sure if it's worth counting)
-NJ vs AJ
-Zero-One (starting vs NOAH, then vs AJ)
-NJ vs NOAH
-Current All Japan

Am I missing anything?

Recently announced, they're doing it this year. Single elimination again, from 8/31 through 9/2.

FMW vs. BattlARTS if you think it's worth counting. They did have that big multi-man tag.

Though not really "Interpromotional" it might be worth mentioning Heisei Ishigun and how that kind oif spun out int othe NWO Japan. The idea of Stable dominating the promotion started with HI and then NWO Japan took to a whole new level!

I don't even have room for All Japan vs FMW, so FMW vs Battlarts is out.

Heisei Ishigun is also a bit 'small' to get to. I cover Choshu's Army, though.

'09 looks like it might have just been part of a 'tournament highlights' clip package.

This has probably been answered before but I'll ask now because I'm too lazy to look but someone sent in a question to Observer Radio (I believe) about Inoki double crossing Hashimoto with Naoya Ogawa. Does anyone know which match this was and what the story behind the double cross is? Meltzer/Alvarez really didn't talk about it.

I'm guessing it would e the 1/4/99 match between Hash and Ogawa where the postmatch was crazy with even Yasuda trying to get in Ogawa's face.

I'm pissed that match isn't on Youtube or Dailymotion anymore. I could believe it was a real shoot because Hash got pulverized and seemed to be keeping the professional stance of not fighting back. Either that or he just got his ass handed to him and couldn't fight back. Shoot or work it was great and Ogawa's gloating, the brawl, then Choshu stomping out there made everything very realistic.
