Grill or bake it all.
My fiancee marinates and/or spices everything up, so it actually tastes good. She cooks 3-4 days worth of food at a time. In my single days, I'd just throw everything on the George Foreman once a week; ziploc it all and be done with it.

This whole intermittent fasting thing is intriguing, but how do I swing that working a 12-hour shift at the factory? I can't see myself not eating for the entire phyiscally demanding shift (6pm to 6am), and then trying to stuff that much food in my gullet at 6:45 in the morning in time to be ready for bed around 8am...

www.MartySugar.com ~ yeah, yeah, it hasn't been updated since May of 2011: sue me.
"Also, oddly enough, I had a dream that Marty Sugar and I were booking the WWE and we were also the commentators. I have no idea what Marty's voice even sounds like, but he kept saying: "That Claudio Castagnoli is a SPECIMEN" and he'd chuckle and drink whiskey." ~ jaedmc, who admittedly spends too much time on this board...

This whole thread is bizarre, because I actually live half a mile from Jester's diner and work 300 yards away from it. Some of the boys go there for lunch everyday.
There's another diner in town that does the "Dave Clarke Experience" which is nowhere near as bad, but you get a free dessert if you eat it, which you then have to eat as well to keep your man points. But that's just a plat of ribs, 11oz steak, 11 oz chicken breast, a whole cheesy garlic bread, a plate full of chips (fries) and a plate full of salad. Can polish that off no problem now, but you do feel it the next day it's weird, like a hangover.
Agreeing with Reggie too, intermittent fasting is the way to go, you stay lean, but I bet when you go out for a meal you can eat the most out of anybody.
Marty I fast from 9pm - 1pm the next day, so all I'm doing is skipping breakfast but I have enough energy for a morning's physical work. (Caffeine helps.) That's not the warrior diet, just regular IF which allows you to eat your days worth of calories in an 8 hour window. Pretty much swear by it now, doubt I'll ever go back to breakfast.

I fell off the Warrior Diet for a bit, switched to a different diet that was ultimately far too low in calories (although I did shock myself into losing 10 pounds), and then injured my back at work and I've been on painkillers that are impossible to take without food. Somehow, I dropped from 232 to 222 on a week of the too-low-calories diet (HCG, FWIW), and now have been sitting at 224-226 for a month, despite eating junk like it's going out of style.

Oh lawd. My fiancee and mother did those HCG drops. Both of them have said it was one of the worst diet experiences they've ever had, and they've done just about all of them. You've got to be a real masochist to want to do that long-term.
I'm telling you - if there is ever a restaurant that offers a 5 pound broccoli, or chicken breast eating contest I'll put everyone to shame.
I've been on the Warrior Diet for 15 months now. I don't think I'll ever go back.

Can we turn this into a general food challenge thread? Someone told me of a a place where the challenge (you get a $20 gift certificate, a t-shirt, and your picture on the wall) for an approximately 160 oz prime rib (including 4 bones). There's a picture on the menu I linked to. I have no idea how much of that poundage is meat instead of bone.

I lasted a few days but the not being able to work out (or do anything because you're consuming 500 calories a day), was too much.
