Just a quick question for all you people who put my knowledge of puroresu to shame. I just watched the 2/9/97 Liger/Ohtani match, which was one of the last big Junior matches of the 90's that I hadn't seen, and the version I saw (from NJ TV) was pretty heavily clipped... probably as much as 10-15 minutes out of a 28-minute match. It was an unbelievable match, and I'm curious as to whether a complete and unclipped version of the match has ever surfaced. I did an internet search on the subject, and though the match is on some Liger comps and what-not, every reference to it I found listed it as clipped or provided no information at all. Any help would be appreciated.

There's a full version on a Best of 1997 NJ Commercial tape. Jeff Lynch has it.

The NJ Classics run didn't make it that far, so it's definitely not there.

Thanks for the info. That tape's been officially fast-tracked to the top of my "To Buy" list.

The uncut match was released on a commercial tape called 1997 Full Version.  There were 2 volumes, this match being on the first.

It has aired uncut nowhere else, AFAIK.
