In case you guys forgot, this show is awesome.
KID. Kawajiri losing again in an entertaining fight. Gegard Mousasi. Freaks. Geeks. And Abel Cullum.

This is one of the best top to bottom cards in a long time.

Unfortunately this will be one of the last big events I'll be able to watch as Time Warner is canceling HDNet in my area effective the end of this month.

The Super Hulk Tournament should've been renamed the SUPER CAN tournament. Besides that a fun show. Some good fights and surprising upsets.
Disappointing that the main event had to end that way, but hopefully they can set up a rematch.

So the Japanese are doing works again (Sapp fight). And none of that "How dare you call that a work" talk. That was blatant.

I'm actually a little surprised that Kid didn't take the decision despite looking like shit. Warren was just laying on him the entire time on the ground and Kid did win the standup. Anyway, it looks like he went the way of Shogun after knee surgery. I didn't see his usual bounce in his footwork, no killer instinct like he ALWAYS has, no aggression and worse of all he gassed for probably the first time in his career. It's probably ring rust and being self-admittedly injured coming into the fight but he should've done better. Also, it's time to learn some Jiu-Jitsu. He had tons of submissions that any decent blue belt could have seen.
Glad that jerk Imanari got exposed. He somehow thinks he can get away being cute and showboating against a guy with good BJJ like Bibiano just got his ass kicked. I totally see Shaolin beating Aoki in the same way.
Also did Sokoudjou go crazy or what. Probably the worst post-stoppage attack ever. It's nice to see Mousasi looking more and more like Fedor with each fight :)

Kid got frustrated really when Warren took all his best strikes and dirty boxed the shit out of him. Warren was active enough on the bottom enough for the ref not to stand them until the second to last TD Warren got. Kid knew he lost that fight.

It was absolutely delicious to me seeing the Kid family watch the fight with their concerned eyes and then getting to see Kid lose. Deliciousness :D .

Yup, and just like Fedor, he gets handed cans.

Oh hey Vile One, Bibiano is winning this tournament. So don't worry about Joe Warren being crowned anything for now.

Anyone else see that Kid was as active as a dead fish off of his back? I realize he had a very strong dude on top of him but I thought he could have tried something in the first round.
Too bad the super hulk tournament lost all the hulks minus Choi. I really hope they try to wrap up the tournament soon since I dont really see any interesting match ups besides Sokoudjou vs Mousasi which Mousasi should win pretty easily.

I read that the semis are in September and the finals are at Dynamite...yeah, you have some time to dwell on things

I'm not worried because everyone and their mother wrote him off for the Kid fight.

Not a bad show, too bad it's the last one I'll get to see "live" (or at least later that day).
P.S. Fuck you Time Warner Cable

Warren says Benavidez and Faber sub him in practice constantly. Bibiano will sub him even harder.

Let's see Bibiano pull off a submission after Warren clinches and knees Bibiano's head into Lenny Hart's lap.

I'm all about Joe Warren in this tournament too. His body shots while in the clinch against Kid were just sickening.
