Premier Promotions - April 30, 2007, Assembly Halls, Worthing, West Sussex (165 crowd)

1 - Steve Grey beat Atsushi Aoki (NOAH) > 2 falls to 1
2 - Go Shiozaki (NOAH) defeated "South City Thrilla" Hade Vansen > 2 falls to 1
3 - PWF Heavyweighty championship: Doug Williams © defeated "Rowdy" Ricky Knight (WAW) to become the undisputed champion following a disputed finish between the two in Potters Bar, Herts
NB. This was Doug Williams' 100 appearence for John Freemantle's promotion
4 - PWF Lightweight championship: "Wonderkid" Jonny Storm © beat Zak Zodiac (WAW) > 2 falls to 1

This sounds like a card I'd really like to see, especially with the throwback to young Japanese wrestlers coming in and working a more traditional British style.

Nope, they very rarely tape shows. I believe that Freemantle got buggered about by a company in the past, and has had very little to do with filming since. This show wasn't filmed anyway. I managed to get a rough fancam of a Potters Bar show a while ago, thats the best anyone can hope for these days.

I was under the impression that Mark Sloan's crew (not the company that buggered John about I hasten to add!) still film the Worthing shows for him?

I thought that they'd only done the one summer tour last year.

Ah ok-that may then indeed be true.

Shame, it means the only way people can see modern yet traditional British wrestling in live action is by making a trip to Worthing.

Premier do travel around other parts of the country, I've seen them in the Bristol area before, and in Potters Bar (Hertfordshire). Britwres.com usually has details.

As a fan from Worthing I gotta say you could do worse than Worthing... although getting out of here after a show any other way than car is nigh on impossible.

I have not been to a Premier show yet but seeing this card makes me want to go. Do they ever announce the line up before the actual show? Because I check their sight but there is nothing there. Can anyone help?

Holy crap! If you live in Worthing, you need to go see a Worthing show. Basically, lineup-wise, I'm not sure if they do (I know they announce at prior shows, not sure about online) but Worthing shows tend to have the pick of good matches, and any foreign visitors from US or Japan will often end up on a Worthing show.

Dude I will try and check out the Half Term Show then. Still angry I missed early Burchill and the chance to see Cabana. Thanks for the heads up.

CHardcire: Holy, holy crap! You are a fan(?) who lives in Worthing, and you haven't been to a Premier show yet...... Amazing! Worthing is Premier's main venue, so they are most likely to put on good line-ups with occasional international guest stars. Tickets are priced decently, so you have very little to lose if you go to a show. Expect four matches and a 2 hour show!
