The Great ML
Andy was on the bus headed back...he was laughing and singing...
Jim & Karen were down and not upbeat...Pam was having fun.

My question was: What was Andy trying to do, when he fell in the water? Was he trying to throw trash in the lake?

Michael said "WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES!" as they were getting out of the bus. I'm so glad that line came back to television.

I thought that was during the day.

The hausfraus at TWOP are killing my buzz. They're all like "Take THAT, Halpert!" and "Jim should have to beg to get her now." and "When has Jim ever done anything like that for Pam?" Argh! Was a year ago erased from their memories MiB style, or something?

What? Silly soccer moms. They should get back in the kitchen.
Freeway
Awesomely awesome episode. I'm eagerly anticipating the finale.

And the Emmys.

It was, since you could clearly see it was sunny.

Okay, so what DID happen after Pam's rant?

Stupid DVR cut off after "Stay tuned for more Office".

I think it was just everyone on the bus singing "Meet the Flintstones." It was daytime, though.
Spaceman Spiff
Complete w/ Michael letting out a big WIIIIILLLLLMMMAAAAA! at the end.
The Great ML
I think it was obvious that the closing scene during the credits, it was supposed to be the way back (Pam's demeanor was happy, Jim/Karen were more solemn) ...although something is wrong...it was daytime coming back.

1. Why would they spend the night at the beach?
2. Perhaps they goofed and had it during the day...?
russellmania
apparently they camped out?
The Notorious D.L.C.
Here's a question that popped up when I watching:

How did Pam cook all those hot dogs? Michael said there were 400 or something. Of course, that's what Michael said, but still.

I didnt like this episode as much as the others this season. I cant remember anything memorable from Creed lastnight, for once, and I think that is why.

It's not like he does tons of things an episode. He caught a fish barehanded and apparently ate it raw and asked, "We were having hotdogs?" If all you look forward to or if your criteria for liking an episode is what Creed does, then, well, there's generally something like 22, 23, 24 minutes and some change where other things are going on to make you like the episode...
The Great ML
What was Andy trying to do when he fell in the lake?
Was he trying to litter? What was in his hand?

I thought it is was like the Diwali episode: the last scene was something special for the audience, not a part of the episode. Shouldn't be a big deal, it's not like the Flintstones song is going to have an effect on the season finale.

His lines usually steal the show and the other 22, 23, 24 and some change minutes arent as enjoyable for me. Next time I'll judge the show more on your preferences.

Do you think it was a deliberate reference? I was trying to figure that one out myself.
idion
The ending with them singing the Flinstones theme was probably an extra; an outro, just for fun's sake. Don't think it was part of the episode proper.

It had to be on purpose. The loud, unguided way he delivered the line sounds like he's doing the exact quote. If Michael shouts out 'Hi Keeba!' during the season finale we'll know for sure.
Manos99
This might be common knowledge, but AICN just posted some of the sitcoms FOX has picked up and:

And, it's obvious that the Flintstones theme was an "up" way to end the episode after a bit of drama. It certainly wasn't supposed to document the ride back.

idion
Oscar saying he might try girls for a while was clearly the moment of the episode. Second being Stanley's crazed look during the sumo challenge.
Stuttsy
So, is anyone else borderline embarassed by how much they are anticipating Thursday night? 'Cause I seriously can't remember the last time I was this excited about a television show. "Casino Night" absolutely blew my fucking mind last year and ever since last summer (even before Jim transferring and the merger and the new characters or any of that) I've been eagerly anticipating what they pull out for THIS season's finale. Can't wait.
idion
Not ashamed, but I too am eagerly anticipating the finale. With the fact that...

... there are a million ways the episode could pan out.

I say the season ends with Ryan nailing Karen and breaking up with Kelly in the same day. What a glorious day for the Temp it would be.

Not to nerd it up anymore than I may already have, but he's not a temp anymore. I think in the first episode of this season he said he had a permanent position with DM. It's sad that I know that.
idion
Dwight still called him Temp in the previous episode, though.

But yeah, I can see Ryan kicking Kelly to the curb. And then paying for it.
The Lazy Samurai
I've actually been thinking the opposite, aka Ryan does something really drastic (marriage proposal?) and freaks Kelly out and she dumps him. I've been saying since the beginning of their thing together that Kelly is going to be the one to end it and I stick by that.

bank- Nerding it up is cool but you, me and everybody else knows that he's forever and always The Temp.
Freeway
Uh, guys?

I think Michael will get the job, and Jim will break up with Karen to end the season. Michael working in corporate for a while would be endlessly amusing, and he could be fired and sent back to dunder mifflin when it starts getting old (if it ever does).

Dwight seems to call Ryan "Temp" when he's angry or frustrated. This amuses me to no end.

I'm watching Episodes on DVR after weeks of being busy. The Watermark ep has me in tears.

Most of these aren't so much spoilers as speculation/theories. But I suppose they could potentially spoil things so...yeah, avoid if you want to be totally unsullied.

It's kinda crazy to think that two years ago, Office was on the verge of not being renewed (I seemed to remember a lot of rumors that it wasn't going to be back for Season 2) and now it's NBC's flagship comedy.

The show was somehow saved once they actually starting writing their own scripts and developing their own characters instead of just copying the BBC one word for word. Season 1 was pretty dicey. I was initially really turned off by the first few episodes and only came back half-way through the 2nd season once I saw how far the show had come. Now I'm quite addicted and prefer the U.S. version enormously over the BBC one. I must admit I'd love for an episode at some point where Dwight and Gareth meet.
