I wish I could meet every one. Meet them all over again. Bring them up to my room.

Less of a pimping and more of a question:

The quality not being the greatest I can't exactly tell, but is this a hardway juice or did Hogan somehow manage to blade the back of his head? It's just so strange so see a large glob on the back of the head instead of the usual spot.

I just assumed Hogan bladed, particularly as blood was quite common in Hogan matches at the time.

This was a good effort by the two with a rabid crowd and was better than their late 1986 cage match IMO which did nothing for me. I especially liked how Hogan teased his big comeback a few times instead of his later lazy routine of taking a huge beating and then hulking up and squashing his opponent. One of the better Hogan matches on these DVDS.

It's not too bad. It's really a formula Hogan match at heart, but the added twist of Orndorff cheating early and the Hogan giving back all the dirty moves in spades gives it added freshness.

Hogan is ridiculously over at this point.

Pretty funny to see the interview in front of the green screen when they've apparently forgotten/not bothered to superimpose a backdrop graphic.

A so so match. The crowd was so rapid for Hogan. He has charisma in spades. Orndorff is just a scary looking dude as in he looks legit in that he can beat the crap out of anyone on the planet.

I actually really enjoyed Orndorff as a sniveling heel in this, but Hogan crapped on his work too often for it to work. A lot of the bad Hogan matches on these sets are due to opponents that don't commit to working an effective, popcorn Hogan match. Orndorff is more than willing to do that here, and even the usual Hogan performance would've made it work just fine... but Hogan made his comebacks at just terrible times, completely neutralizing anything Orndorff was doing. Will probably be in my bottom 20.
