Seems harsh to do it this close to the holidays. Maybe a tiny bit, but to be honest, there's no real good time to fire someone. He'll get paid for another 90 days too so it's not like he's going to be broke going into Christmas. If anything, it actually gives the guys more time to spend with the their families. Unemployed - yes. But still... -------------------- DORKING STAT KING: My Pro Wrestling Statistics Page

But who will punt the baby? Orton. And he'll still receive a smattering of cheers for it. -------------------- "People fail to reach their potential as professionals, lovers, parents and people simply because they are not aware of the possible."

Seems harsh to do it this close to the holidays. I agree, but he's lucky he lasted this long. He may be tied with Test and Paul Burchill with how many failed push attempts. Who needs Snitsky? We have Mike Knox now, and he seems somewhat competent. Plus his beard is 10x more awesome than Snitsky's ever was. They could have at least given Snitsky a meaningless face turn and jobbed him out in a beard vs beard match to Knox. |

But who will kick the baby? Don't kick the baby. BTW, I hope against hope those teeth were just an appliance, and not something he did permanently to please the boss. Hate to break it to you, but those are his real teeth... he went out and had them stained that color on his own dime to get attention (which did work for awhile). And yeah, I'd like to think he can get it removed. -------------------- ![]() How to Enjoy TNA [zhixel] Dean is a stern and unforgiving god that answers no prayers. [Dean] I'm like CROM! |

And yeah, I'd like to think he can get it removed. I'll miss the fucker. There is no purer heel than a hideously ugly, goony moderately retarded-looking goof stalking cross-eyed through a company and taking out pretty young cruiserweights, while himself being completely unable to wrestle, instead getting by on raw power and intimidation. (see: Knox, Mike) Snitsky was the antithesis of a "Cool heel". God bless him. |

QUOTE World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Gene Snitsky as of today, December 11. WWE wishes Gene the best in all future endeavors. It's not his fault his WWE career was aborted. With all the other names we've seen released throughout 2008, all I can say to this is: ABOUT FUCKING TIME. I agree completely. He has been a waste of space for a looong time. And he stained his teeth like that?! Double-you-tee-eff. -------------------- QUOTE(www.creedthoughts.gov.www\creedthoughts @ July 26 2007, 02:11 PM) Number Five: I will institute a database with pictures of every resident in the state naked. Every five years, a citizen can request to view any one person’s naked picture for a viewing period of ten minutes. After they’ve used up their viewing, they have to wait another five years until they can view another. It’s just not fair for all these foxy ladies to be walking around without anyone being able to see them naked. This is going to be the cornerstone of my campaign. Out since August with a torn PCL. Did a shot for Florida Championship Wrestling last month and is expected back any time now.

Can't wait for his return, Umaga's awesome and his Last Man Standing match with John Cena at the 2007 Royal Rumble remains one of my favourite WWF/E matches this decade. -------------------- ![]() |

Somehow that Umaga injury got lost on me. I think he, like Randy Orton before him, got injured at just the right time. When he returns it will have a ton more impact than if he'd been healthy all along and just floating in some meaningless feud.
I'm telling you, one of the best things they can do is set up a rotation where a small handful of guys at a time get two months' vacation to heal and freshen up. If everyone has to do it, nobody would worry about losing their spot. |

Bizarre and awesome. http://www.infomercial-hell.com/santo-gold/ Whiskey tango foxtrot? If you think that's bad, there's an official SantoGold website, and all I have to say is, between Gritsboy and this, "don't do drugs" is the message to be learned. I'm happy that I don't recognize most of the wrestlers in the movie, although seeing Ox Baker in the film is quite unfortunate. Not too surprisingly, this shyster ended up in the slammer. And here I thought for all these years that there couldn't be a worse wrestling film than Grunt! The Wrestling Movie. -------------------- Recent avatars used include: Birmingham Biscuits, Mississippi Mudcats, San Francisco Spiders, Thunder Bay Thunder Cats, Grand Rapids Air Hogs, Hawaii Islanders, Barys Astana of Kazakhstan of the Kontinental Hockey League, the logo of the Korea Republic soccer team, and currently, the Houston Aeros AHL hockey team.

It's amusing how WWE always "comes to terms on" a release. Like there's some sort of negotiation process rather than a "see ya".
