This time, I got to the Arena 30 earlier than the annouced starting time, which means I could have to wait for 90 minutes, but actually were only 55, bad thing is that I sat down in what turned out to be the "Porra Tecnica".

King Azteca & Jerry Brown vs Insolito & ?? Never catched the name of the second rudo, and he was not very good, he nearly got killed trying to do a frankensteiner and could not cover for the rookies (looked to be a combined 32 years of age). Jerry was supposed to be rudo, but surely changed to the tecnicos when the booker saw he is like 40 pounds... did OK for what is worth. Insolito was good working with King Azteca, who besides doing too many Mysterioish spots, was perfectly fine.

Angel de Oro, Espacial & Scriba jr vs Guerrero Inca, Moro Jr & El Scriba Another last minute booking change, since the Scribases were not in the program. I had seen both in a mano a mano a couple of weeks back, and this time they did more or less the same matwork but with less funky grapevine submissions. Moro Jr was good in gathering heat, rudos even teased a walkout tease. Fewer dives than one would expect, and one guy using la mistica made this [Petrie]The worst house show ever.[/Petrie] Well, I actually had lots of fun with this one, third fall nearly fell apart as they started hitting finishers and were more or less TVish in a unseen unmasking + pin ending.

Brillante Jr & Piloto Suicida vs Scriba & Piloto Negro I was impressed by Brillante Jr, he was no good here, but this was not the kind of match for him to shine, but he looked much bigger and bulkier than the tiny teenage boy he was a few months back... seems to have some trouble adapting to tha since he horribly blew a 619... entertaining brawl, typical CMLL first fall, then a 17 minute sprint with no rest between 2 and 3 falls, both Pilotos juiced, couple of tornillos at the end... lots of hair match challenges issued, that time was used by Brillante Jr's fans to get lots, and I mean dozens, of pictures.

Trueno, Stuka Jr & Soberano Jr vs Misterioso Jr, Espanto V & Mister Guerrero It was until he came out with his goofy cape that I realized that Trueno is the guy from CMLL, first I thought "why bother bringing that guy here", but he was good and brought something to the match, I think was motivated being in a new place and was certainly better than Tigre Metalico from a couple of weeks before (who had already spent nearly a month over here). It might also be that he was working with Espanto V, the match started 10 minutes before midnight, so I feel they trimmed 5-8 minutes from it, so they only gave Trueno time to do his stuff, as we all know Misterioso II and Stuka Jr. Still, it made some parts to look akward, for instance, Stuka Jr entered and submitted to "La Swastika" in 3 seconds in the first fall. Train wreck in the final fall was cool with everyone hitting dives, even the referees!! I loved the finish in which it turned into a mini Cibernetico tourney with 5 eliminations until we got to the ultimate winner.

I had thought the show was average, but as I walked away from the arena, I started liking it better... might change of opinion when/if I see them again... I don't know... Overall Approx Rating: 65.

Well, here's the first match, I made the error to turn the camera up and was getting too much light in, making the ring look darker... I wasn't using the viwer...

Guy in red is Kid Azteca, the first guy he locks horns with is Insolito.

...This should be awesome...

As in awesomely bad... hehe, I saw it in FF and it's pretty hard to see because of the darkness, I was hoping of some way to process it to fix it... the ?? guy... I didn't knew who he was, I posted the review in a Mexican board in hopes of someone telling me... what was I thinking? Oh well, he didn't look as bad as I remembered live, but still... he was being called "Pandita", it probably fits...

The footage is way better than you make it out to be. I started to watch in full but had to go out though. Will you be uploading the rest later in the week?

Probably, if anything, I learnt how to do it, I think the better spot to be is on the oposite side of the ring, near the neutral corner. I was giving it a test run for the camera, was not too happy with the results but stupid fingers, I dropped and now I have to buy it... oh well... at least it still works!!

Maybe I'll upload clips of the Brillante Jr/Pilotos/Scriba highlights in the best quality... I don't know about the rest, in the last match I was moving from one place to another and I don't know how much of the actual match made it...

Short, short clip from with Halcon Suriano Jr's interview, you can catch about 1 minute of kids training Lucha Libre.
