Okay, the team idea seems to have taken off and while I only intended for it to be a one-time lark, I'm going to try to keep it going. That said, it took more effort than I imagined and the thing may be scrapped at a moments notice if I just can't keep up.
To alleviate the strain, I'm not only dissolving Team Infallible, but also the Belgian team. Five teams is the most I feel I can handle. They will be added to the draft roster. Teams will swell to more than five, but only five people will be "in the game". I'll come up with some rules to ensure that everybody actually gets to play, although some, if not all, people will end up warming the bench at some point. The captains will get to make those picks. I'll also make up rules involving movement between teams. This will come later. In the mean time, we'll stick with the anonymous captains for the draft and once teams are established I'll set up an e-mail account for people to vote for new captains. The first order of business for the new captains will be to pick new team names (or keep the old one). This is very important: IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE IN TEAM PLAY, LET ME KNOW. IF YOU WANT TO BE ADDED TO THE DRAFT ROSTER LET ME KNOW. You have until Sunday. I will contact the captains on Monday and ask them to send me draft picks. New Team rosters should be announced by Wednesday. DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOU ARE ON THE DRAFT ROSTER. TEAMS AS THEY ARE NOW: TEAM FREEDOM FRIES Driscoll, Electric Poet, Nick M, Rifkin, Shawner TEAM POUTINE deadscott, KS, Lazy Samurai, Marc, Rudo!Rudo!Rudo! TEAM CHIPS & MALT Capt. Midnight, Famous Mortimer, David Blackshore, Russ L, Scott Newman TEAM WHAT'S WITH ALL THESE ANGLOPHONES EATING FRIED POTATOES? Gerard, Glen, FrenziedMe, Igor2005, JTU TEAM BATATA WADA Chris Henderson, Farnsworth, Hollinger., Kenn Haspel, Spunk Draft Roster: Mike Naimark, Tommy Hackett, Lee Casebolt, evilclown, DeMysteriisDomCanuckus, man-ape-gone-wrong-thing, MecGojira, sbmwest, Setsuna, antelope, brian, menorike, Dan T, Love Machine, Zheroen, TonyJ, ODT, gordi, suprunknown, psycosis, chacap |

QUOTE(Blockhead Dan @ Mar 10 2006, 04:54 PM) Draft Roster: Mike Naimark, Tommy Hackett, Lee Casebolt, evilclown, DeMysteriisDomCanuckus, man-ape-gone-wrong-thing, MecGojira, sbmwest, Setsuna, antelope, brian, menorike, Dan T, Love Machine, Zheroen, TonyJ, ODT, gordi, suprunknown I encourage all team captains to drop their dead weight and pick up the one infallible worthy of the name. I'll even pretend that the backwards third world country in which you live is something less than an embarassment to civilized people everywhere. Even Canada. Maybe. -------------------- |

Whoa boy. This should be very, very interesting. Not only are the Infallible now available, but you've got to figure Setsuna is a first round draft pick after his showing with the last picks.
I look forward to the way this will develop. -Kenn. |

Count me in the draft. I would just like to point out the latest UFC and Pride results. Check our Pharoah of Phall standings as well. That is all.

To be clear, don't PM me asking to be added, post here. Think of it a chance to make your case.

I'd definitely like to be involved in this. I scored 5th for UFC 58 and want to show off my prediction skills.

I'm already in the draft, and am happy being there.
As for making a case: "GSP, Dec." is looking like a pretty swank call right now if I do say so myself. As is my top 5 UFC 58 finish. But if you don't want that kind of strength, I understand... -------------------- |

I advise the team captains against taking one hit wonders. Need I remind you of the rise and fall of Chrispy? Stick with veteran talent. Like me. I will provide a solid to great score and make our enemies weak at the knees.

My question is whether selecting evilclown will spare his teammates from his wrath, or subject us to even more of it.
